Functional Family Therapy (FFT) is a family prevention and intervention program that targets youth at risk for disruptive behavioral problems. This short-term program seeks to change unhealthy and disruptive youth behaviors that contribute to personal, societal and economic burdens. FFT uses engagement, motivation, relational assessment, behavioral change and generalization phases to help reduce common risk factors and increase protective factors for vulnerable families.
