Head Start/Early Head Start

Head Start and Early Head Start are comprehensive child development programs that serve children from birth to 5, pregnant women and their families. The overall goal of these child directed programs is to increase school readiness for young children in low-income families. All Head Start programs provide access to comprehensive education, health, nutrition and social services to enrolled children and their parents. Programs actively engage parents in building relationships with community partners and managing program activities and services.
