PUBLIC HELATH PRINCIPLES:

You'll start by selecting one of the areas of violence. Then, you will be shown five scenarios that describe a variety of real-life programs and strategies. Determine if the programs or strategies within the scenarios are trying to impact violence before it begins - known as primary prevention. Or, are the scenarios focusing on the impact of violence after it has already happened - as in secondary or tertiary prevention?

Once you have made that selection, you will be asked to indicate on which level of the Social Ecological Model does the scenario occur. Individual? Relationship? Community or Society?
