The High Scope/Perry Preschool Project aims to intervene early in a child's life to positively affect learning and attitudes toward school. This strategy uses a 30-week school-based curriculum that supports individualized learning and teaching. Children are encouraged to engage in activities that include making healthy choices, solving problems and contribute to intellectual, social and physical development. Home sessions involve parents in their children's educational experience and allow teachers to support parents with home-related problems.
