Positive Family Support-Family Checkup (formerly Adolescent Transitions Program), is a family-centered intervention that uses a multi-level approach that targets children at risk for problem behavior or substance use. This program is delivered in the middle school setting to parents and children, and addresses healthy family relationships. Sessions are led by group leaders and focus on areas like problem-solving, active listening, and setting and defining reasonable goals. Curriculum exists for both parents and teens.
